Sen. Begich at Arlington National Cemetery

U.S. Sen. Mark Begich and his wife, Deborah Bonito, attended the Veterans' Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

After the official ceremony, Sen. Begich and Deborah laid a wreath at the gravesite of an Alaskan who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon.

Ronald John Hemenway was born in Cordova, graduated from Wasilla High School and attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He was killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon while working in the office of the Chief of Navy Operations.
