Landye Bennett Blumstein Attorney Named to “Best Lawyers in America”
Anchorage, Alaska - Philip Blumstein of Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012.
Blumstein was included in two categories, Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions. He was also recently named to the 2011 Super Lawyers® list for Alaska.
In addition to Blumstein, eight lawyers in the firm’s Portland, Oregon office were included on the 2012 “Best Lawyers” list.
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 41,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.9 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
The lawyers listed in Best Lawyers have no say in deciding which practice areas they are included in. They are voted into practice areas entirely as a result of the votes they receive from their peers. The subspecialties listed after their names are based on information from a variety of sources.
Landye Bennett Blumstein, with offices in Alaska and Oregon, is a regional law firm that provides legal services to clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, including public and private corporations, real estate developers, homeowner associations, municipalities, nonprofit groups, and individuals. In addition, the firm represents clients throughout the United States on specialized matters.
