ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, November 10, 2011 – Chris Yelverton has been promoted to the area retail leader position at KeyBank in Alaska. Yelverton will work closely with the managers of six Anchorage-area retail branches as well as continue to lead the Key@Work Program for the entire Alaska District.

Yelverton joined Key in 1998 as a client relations representative and has held several positions throughout the retail line of business. He brings a proven track record of sales, sales leadership, and strategy execution to his new role. His leadership and collaboration propelled Alaska to the top spot for Key@Work programming in all 23 districts nationwide. Yelverton holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alaska. He was recently elected to the board of directors for the Food Bank of Alaska.
