Gere Donovan Creative Wins Website Awards

Gere Donovan Creative has been awarded three 2010 Silver Davey Awards, in recognition of its work on the websites of Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, Kenai Fjords Tours and the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau's interactive, Flash-based Online Visitors Center.
The 6th International Davey Awards drew over 4,000 entries from across the globe. So-named because they honor the “Davids” of creativity, the Davey Awards celebrate the achievements of the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world.  David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock — creatively, it's the sort of thing that small firms do each year, with big ideas and small budgets.
The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.  Current IAVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including:  Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Yahoo!, Estee Lauder, Wired, Insight Interactive, The Webby Awards, Bath & Body Works, Brandweek, Polo Ralph Lauren, ADWEEK, Alloy, Coach, iNDELIBLE, MTV, Victoria’s Secret, HBO, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Myspace.com, and many others.
Gere Donovan Creative has offices in Anchorage, Alaska and Portland, Oregon.
