Alyeska Resort to run 2009-10 Ski and Snowboard Bus with stops in Anchorage, Eagle River and Fort Rich Main GateNovember 23, 2009 (Girdwood, Alaska) – To make it as easy as possible to hit the slopes this winter, Alyeska Resort will be operating the popular Ski and Snowboard Bus for the 2009-10 season. The bus offers convenience and cost-savings for Anchorage and EagleRiver residents.
This winter, the Ski and Snowboard Bus will start running Saturday, December 19, 2009 (no service on Christmas Day) and continue Saturdays and Sundays through March 28, 2010. The bus also offers service on a few select Anchorage School District In-Service dates, please visit www.AlyeskaResort.com for details. Bus tickets can be purchased at any Alyeska Ticket Office, on the bus, or online.
The bus provides one-way and round-trip transportation with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations in Anchorage and EagleRiver. In EagleRiver, the stop is at the Eagle River Fred Meyer location. In Anchorage, designated stops include the Anchorage Sheraton and Hilton, and The Mall at Sears. The Ski Bus is open to all ages. Round-trip fare is $18 and one-way fare is $12. When purchasing tickets directly from the bus driver, exact change is required.
