he Eighth Annual Yakutat Tern Festival is May 31-June 3, 2018. The festival is a celebration of the natural and cultural resources of Yakutat, Alaska, which hosts one of the largest and southernmost known nesting colonies of Aleutian Terns, as well as Arctic Terns and up to 200 other bird species that nest in or migrate through the area.

Alaska Airlines and Aer Lingus announced a broad partnership that will provide Mileage Plan members more ways to earn and redeem miles to Europe. The carriers will begin interline availability across their respective networks starting in April. Alaska Mileage Plan members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Aer Lingus flights and Aer Lingus AerClub members will also be able to earn and redeem miles on Alaska, starting at a later date.
The Alaska Zoo and millions around the world will unite for one of the largest, environmental events in history—Earth Hour. Organized by the World Wildlife Federation, Earth Hour strives to bring awareness to climate change by encouraging people, businesses and governments across the globe to save electricity and turn off all non-essential lights during a designated time.
A flavorful new First Class menu will start flying this week, while new thoughtful product extras will be introduced throughout 2018.
