World Oceans Day is 8 June 2013
People around the planet celebrate and honor the body of water which links us all, for what it provides humans and what it represents. There are a number of events around the globe at a wide range of venues and organized by a wide range of organizations.
The goals are to Celebrate, Educate, Take action, Clean up and more. You can find an event or create your own.
