(Anchorage, AK) - Arbor Day is America's national tree planting holiday, the day we set aside to plant ceremonial trees, educate children about the importance of trees, and honor the important role that trees play in our daily lives.
This year, Alaska will celebrate Arbor Day on Monday, May 20. A number of local organizations have planned Arbor Day celebrations between Friday, May 17 and Monday, May 20.
