Saturday: Super Sweepers is Back!
Kids will take the lead in this year's Citywide Cleanup

Anchorage Chamber Citywide Cleanup Week will kick off with Super Sweeper Saturday, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at these participating schools.

The Super Sweeper program helps teach school-aged kids the value of a clean city and community service, motivating the rest of Anchorage to participate in Cleanup Week.

Starting at 10 a.m., parents assist their kids in picking up trash around their schools and neighborhoods, returning the full bags of trash to the school before 2 p.m.

Residents can take their filled orange bags from litter cleanup only to their nearest participating school.
Please do not bring yard waste or household items to the participating schools.

Each student from each Anchorage School District participating school who collected trash will be entered at their school to win an iPod Shuffle,™ courtesy of Princess Tours. Click here for more info.
