Ahtna Announces New President for Subsidiary Companies Ahtna Government Services Corporation and Ahtna Design-Build, Inc.
Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna Netiye’, Inc. is pleased to announce that Craig O’Rourke has agreed to serve as President of subsidiary companies Ahtna Government Services Corporation (AGSC) and Ahtna Design-Build, Inc. (ADB), effective immediately.
Mr. O’Rourke has over 20 years of leadership, program, and project management experience in the construction and environmental site assessment, site investigation, and hazardous waste remediation industries. Prior to his appointment, Mr. O’Rourke served as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for both companies where he was responsible for developing new business, managing operations, and overseeing international, nationwide and regional contracts for various government agencies and commercial entities. Mr. O’Rourke has extensive experience in coordination and management of both governmental and commercial programs. As President, Mr. O’Rourke will continue to engage in the development and coordination of multi-faceted construction, environmental remediation, and facility restoration opportunities. He will be based out of Ahtna’s Irvine, CA office.
Prior to joining Ahtna in 2011, Mr. O’Rourke was a Principal at Terracon Consultants, a nationwide geotechnical and environmental services company, where he served multiple roles over 7 years, including Western Regional Environmental Director, CA Operations Manager and Director of Federal Programs. Mr. O’Rourke has also held program and project manager positions for Foster Wheeler Environmental, Tetra Tech, ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller, and the California EPA.
Mr. O’Rourke is a native of Orange County, California and is a graduate of UCLA. He is also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and holds a Master of Science degree in environmental sciences from California State University, Fullerton.
