World Renown “First Of Season” Wild, Copper River Sockeye and King Salmon, Gets Delivered Direct To Exclusive Alaska Seafood Restaurant Within Hours of Harvest
The first of a kind in Alaska and hours before our salmon hits restaurants worldwide!
Billy Green, Vice President of Production at Copper River Seafoods, presented Bridge Seafood Owners/Chef’s Patrick Hoogerhyde and Al Levinson, the first of the season Copper River salmon at the exclusively Alaskan seafood restaurant. The King Salmon was caught yesterday afternoon by one of the founders and partners in Copper River Seafoods, Pip Fillingham. The King was caught during the first opening, on the outside beach, just east of the “Outer Hole” and weighs 30 pounds.

Friday morning, the King was delivered just hours before the official grand opening to the new upscale wild Alaska seafood buffet restaurant scenically situated on Ship Creek. Chef Patrick provided visitors a tour of the restaurant and some tips on how the King is prepped for their grand opening dinner tonight. Visitors also were provided a tour of the new Copper River Retail kiosk, featuring some of their branded clothing and signature smoked salmon – manufactured by one of the other founders of Copper River Seafoods and Cordova resident, Bill Bailey.
