Elite SUBWAY® sandwich artists from across the state will gather in Anchorage this weekend to compete to see who can make the fastest sandwich in all of Alaska. The victorious sandwich slinger will retain the title of Alaska’s Sub Jammer Champion.
The Sub Jammer Champion will not only walk away with cash prizes and the title, but the winning communities’ franchisee will also be given $1,000 by the SUBWAY® of Alaska Development office to be donated to the local charity of their choice.
“At SUBWAY® of Alaska, we pride ourselves in rewarding our employees, garnering healthy competition and giving back to our local communities,” Steve Adams, SUBWAY® of Alaska franchisee and development agent.
Participants are required to produce a FOOTLONG™ turkey sandwich to standard SUBWAY® formula in the quickest time possible with the fewest errors. Contestants are judged on performance, visual appeal, formula and presentation.
Franchisees from across the state including Anchorage, Eagle River, Kodiak, Talkeetna and the Mat-Su Valley have assembled nearly 75 of their most talented sandwich artists and managers to compete for the coveted title.
The nearly 75 completed FOOTLONG™ turkey sandwiches will then be donated to a local charity or non-profit organization.
