Kenall of Anchorage will Donate $20,000 to Area Charities


In conjunction with the Grand Opening of the new Kendall Toyota of Anchorage facility and the Kendall Cares program, Kendall Toyota of Anchorage will be giving away $20,000 to Southcentral Area non-profits.  Kendall Cares is an ongoing initiative designed to give back and support the communities, customers and employees that Kendall serves.  

Kendall Toyota will be awarding four charities in the Anchorage area $5,000 each. Area non-profits (must be an IRS registered 501 (c)(3) organization) can apply or be nominated online at www.kendallgivesback.com.  Applications will be accepted through Friday, May 25, 2012.  Finalists will be announced on June 1st and public voting will begin on Kendall Auto Alaska’s Facebook page and at the new Toyota Store located on the Old Seward Highway. Public voting will take place from June 1 through June 22 with winners being announced on June 27, 2012. 

“Last year’s efforts were incredibly successful, we were glad to be able to engage our community, a number of noteworthy non-profits and their supporters.  We are excited to bring this program back to Southcentral” said Mike Morris, General Manager of Kendall Toyota/Scion/Lexus in Anchorage.
