Delegation Announces About $7 million in Grants to Alaska Programs
Washington, D.C. - The Alaska Congressional Delegation is pleased to announce the following grants:
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Indian Community Development Block Grant Program:
· $600,000 grant to the Cook Inlet Tribal Council
· $600,000 grant to the Ekwok Village
· $600,000 grant to the Mentasta Traditional Council
· $600,000 grant to the Native Village of Buckland
· $600,000 grant to the Native Village of Kiana
· $599,457 grant to the Organized Village of Kasaan
· $540,000 grant to the Village of Venetie
· $530,000 grant to the Arctic Village
· $500,910 grant to the Native Village of Chitna
· $419,487 grant to the Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska
· $356,218 grant to the Pauloff Harbor Village
· $28,175 grant to the Agdaagux Tribe of King Cove
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
· $1,593,628 to the North Pacific Fishery Management Council for administrative support to enable them to carry out their responsibilities as defined by the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Act.
