Pickup your orange bags (two per person) at all Fred Meyer locations, or the Anchorage Chamber office from now until May 19.
Then, visit CitywideCleanup.org and choose your pickup area on our interactive map. Gather your team and clean during the week!
But wait, don't forget to deliver your trash to the Anchorage Regional Landfill, Central Transfer Station or Girdwood Transfer Station.

May 12 Super Sweeper Saturday
More than 80 schools, Anchorage/Eagle River/ Girdwood
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Anchorage Chamber's Super Sweeper program, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, kicks off Anchorage Chamber Citywide Cleanup Week and helps teach school-aged kids the value of a clean city and community service.
Parents assist their kids in picking up trash around their schools and neighborhoods, returning the full bags of trash to the school before 2 p.m.
More than 80 schools participate. See a list of participating schools here.
Each student from each school who collects trash will be eligible to receive an iPod ShuffleT.
Orange bags on this day will be issued from the student's school.
Residents can also take their filled orange bags from litter cleanup only to their nearest participating school. Please do not bring yard waste or household items to these sites.
May 18 Clean Sweep Celebration
AT&T Sports Pavilion
1 - 4 p.m.
The Anchorage Chamber's Clean Sweep Celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at the AT&T Sports Pavilion.
At the end of a busy cleanup week, we invite businesses to celebrate the end of Citywide Cleanup Week at this event, full of food and beverages from Subway and Costco, live music, the always fun Trash Olympics and new Clean Sweep Trade Show (see below)!
At the Clean Sweep Celebration, businesses can compete with each other in the Trash Olympics, a friendly show of strength and endurance.

Clean Sweep Trade Show
The first annual Clean Sweep Trade Show is designed to showcase businesses and non-profit organizations specializing in waste removal, recycling, and conservation. Any business may register to show off their company's conservation efforts.
Businesses can purchase a booth at the Clean Sweep Celebration's Trade Show.

The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization with nearly 1,100 members representing roughly 63,000 employees.
