RIM Architects Exports Services to Asia
In continued efforts to expand business opportunities and bring new revenue for the state of Alaska, RIM Architects has been selected for hospitality and housing projects in several Asia locations. With projects in Russia, China, Taiwan and Okinawa, RIM is delivering design services to a varying culture base. “We feel that this is the best of all worlds, when we can bring revenue to Alaska and offer our employees some great opportunities to use their skills in diverse design environments” says David McVeigh, Executive Vice President of RIM.
RIM has partnered with local Asian firms to deliver concept, schematic and design development services. “We find that clients in Asia are developing strong desires for Western design”, says McVeigh. In some cases, these clients face the same design challenges as we do, here in Alaska.RIM Architects has been providing excellence in comprehensive architectural design and client service throughout Alaska since 1986. The firm’s philosophy is to bring “Results with IMagination” to every project and to translate its client’s program, functional objectives and aesthetic aspirations into an appropriate and creative architectural solution. In addition to its Anchorage office, RIM Architects also has offices in California, Guam and Hawai`.
