Frontier Airlines Continues 17-Market Expansion

Fastest Growing Major Airline in the United States

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today launched new nonstop service between the carrier's Denver hub and both Newport News/Williamsburg, Va. (PHF) and Madison, Wis. (MSN). The carrier also launched nonstop service between Kansas City, Mo. (MCI) and Columbus, Ohio (CMH). The service is part of a significant period of growth for the Denver-based carrier, which is growing by 7 percent in seat miles this year, making it the fastest-growing major airline in the United States.

"This is a very exciting time for us at Frontier Airlines," said Daniel Shurz, vice president of strategy and planning. "The integration of Frontier and Midwest Airlines into one carrier, operating under the Frontier Airlines name, now offers our customers more destinations at an affordable price, with an unmatched customer service experience. We are growing faster than any other major airline in the United States and that growth will continue over the next six weeks as we wrap up this 17-market expansion."

In the coming weeks, Frontier Airlines will launch service between Denver and Fairbanks, Alaska; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Long Beach, Calif.; New Orleans; and Santa Barbara, Calif. The carrier will also launch service from Milwaukee to both Seattle/Tacoma and from Kansas City to New Orleans.

On April 13, Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. announced that Frontier Airlines would be the face of its branded operation, combining Frontier and Midwest Airlines into one carrier. Although all flights can now be purchased at FrontierAirlines.com, Frontier and Midwest will continue to integrate technology over the next six to nine months and during this time period customers are reminded to continue checking in with the operating airline for their flight.
