Don’t miss the 2010 Southeast Alaska Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) workshop, May 21-23 at Echo Ranch
The BOW workshop is designed for women, but open to anyone 18 and older.Participants choose from 22 class offerings featuring fun, safe, hands-on learning sessions to develop outdoor skills. Classes include skiff handling, fly fishing, firearm safety, wild edibles, kayaking, shotgun, map and compass, GPS, salmon fishing, chainsaw, salmon smoking – pickling – gravelox, field dressing, Dutch oven cooking, survival, fly tying and more. The $250 tuition fee and includes class sessions, equipment, meals, lodging, evening programs, and transportation to camp.
