BURNING SUSPENSION LIFTED SUNDAY, MAY 23TH ON DAY-TO-DAY BASIS(Soldotna, AK) The Kenai-Kodiak Area of the Alaska Division of Forestry Office has lifted the open burning suspension Sunday afternoon, May 23rd. Residents must adhere strictly to the terms on their permit and call each day to the phone number listed on their permit to record his/her burn. Forestry will evaluate the fire danger rating daily and adjust the burn suspension accordingly.
