WHPacific Expands in Southern California; Opens New El Segundo Office
(March 5, 2014) – WHPacific, the largest Alaska Native-owned multi-discipline, professional services company in the United States, opens an office in El Segundo. The office’s opening is in response to the increasing demands for WHPacific’s range of surveying services, especially for utility providers in California.
WHPacific’s goal is to offer its full services to clients throughout Southern California from its four offices in California. Currently, WHPacific offers civil engineering, surveying, geospatial, and environmental services for clients in Southern California. With current experience in the United States and abroad, WHPacific specializes in mobile and static scanning in remote locations and rugged terrain. As a professional services firm, WHPacific performs a wide range of disciplines and collaborates with its clients and teaming partners to deliver the project, wherever the services are needed.
“Establishing a presence in El Segundo is right in line with our efforts to diversify our services into new markets,” said Hal Keever, chief operating officer. “With the addition of this office, our entry into the Southern California market is exciting as it bolsters WHPacific’s potential for growth.”
Helping Clients Meet their Diversity Requirements
WHPacific’s diversity through minority ownership is a key advantage for clients. For work in the private sector, WHPacific is certified as a Minority-Owned Business by the National Minority Supplier Development Council and its regional affiliates. More importantly in California, WHPacific is certified by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). WHPacific’s status as an Alaska Native owned company allows Federal prime contractors to count subcontracts to WHPacific as Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business under their subcontracting plans. The firm’s history in successfully teaming with other engineering firms throughout our service areas demonstrates WHPacific’s commitment to providing quality services to support diversity requirements for a broad range of clients.
