Frankenfish resolution passes from Senate Resources Committee
Juneau – Today, House Joint Resolution 5 passed out of the Senate Resources Committee after hearing public testimony.
The resolution was introduced by Representative Geran Tarr (D-Anchorage) at the beginning of the session. The resolution now has 27 co-sponsors in the House and six co-sponsors in the Senate.
“I’m really thankful to Senate Resources Committee for hearing and moving this resolution,” Tarr said. “By saying Yes to HJR 5, we’re saying No to Frankenfish!”
The next committee of referral is the Senate Rules Committee.
