Engineer Earns PE Designation
Anchorage, AK — AMC Engineers announces Matt Olson has passed the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering exam.
Matt is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Since joining AMC Engineers in 2006, his work includes the preparation of heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, piping and duct system design, construction documents preparation, site investigations and evaluation of existing HVAC and plumbing systems, and construction contract administration support. Matt has experience working on a diverse array of projects including hospitals/clinics, schools, university buildings, office buildings, industrial buildings, and laboratories throughout the state of Alaska including Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, Juneau, Bethel, and the North Slope.
He is currently working on the UAA Engineering and Industry Building, the UAF Engineering Building, the Dena'ina Wellness Center in Kenai, and the State of Alaska Library, Archives, and Museum project in Juneau.
