AFACT Hosts Assembly Candidates Forum

AFACT (Anchorage Faith & Action – Congregations Together) is hosting an Assembly Candidate Forum on Tuesday, March 19 from 6:00-7:00 pm at St. Mary’s Episcopal
Church on the corner of Tudor and Northern Lights. The Forum will be followed by a reception with Assembly and School Board Candidates. The forum will be moderated by Michael Carey.

The Assembly candidates attending the forum will respond to questions on issues raised by AFACT member congregations. Since 2003, AFACT families have sought action on issues such as public safety, youth recreation, chronic homelessness, and senior concerns.

The candidate forum will provide an opportunity for each candidate to outline his or her plans for addressing some of these issues. AFACT was founded in 2003 to organize, empower, and mobilize faith communities to address quality of life issues affecting their community. More information can be found at www.anchoragefact.org.
