Velleca elected to CSI National Board

Anchorage, Alaska—March 12, 2012—WHPacific is pleased to announce that Sandra Velleca has been elected to the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Board of Directors as Institute Director from the Northwest Region. Velleca has been a CSI and Northwest Region member for 30 years. She is a Fellow in CSI and is a Certified Construction Specifier and Certified Construction Contract Administrator.

The CSI Board is a nationally elected body providing long-range strategic leadership. It is composed of nationally elected CSI officers, elected representatives (directors) from each of CSI’s ten regions; and two directors at large. Institute Directors are members of their respective regions recognized for their leadership qualifications, knowledge of CSI, and the characteristics of the construction industry in their regions. As Institute Directors, their priority is to establish Institute policy and manage and control Institute affairs.

Owned by NANA Development Corporation, WHPacific is an architectural and engineering consulting firm with offices in Alaska, and in six states throughout western US. Engineering News Record magazine in 2011 ranked WHPacific No. 163 on its annual list of the Top 500 Design Firms in the United States.
