The Coal News and Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending March 16, 2012.

 

For the week, spot prices:

 

•  Remained at $65.85 in the Central Appalachia Basin

•  Decreased from $70.05 to $66.05 in the Northern Appalachia Basin

•  Remained at $52.00 in the Illinois Basin

•  Decreased from $11.50 to $10.50 in the Powder River Basin

•  Remained at $40.55 in the Uinta Basin
