Anchorage, AK (March 1, 2012)—Alaska Regional Hospital has named Victor Rosenbaum as its new chief operating officer (COO). He will start March 19.
Rosenbaum has been involved in strategic planning and process improvement activities in various capacities for healthcare businesses. He is currently executive assistant to the director of the Alaska Veteran’s Affairs Healthcare system in Anchorage.
“We look forward to welcoming Vic to our team,” Annie Holt, Alaska Regional Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said. “He has an impressive track record and his leadership skills and broad expertise make him an excellent addition to the Alaska Regional family.”
Rosenbaum is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is current president of the Alaska Healthcare Executives Network. His previous positions include home telehealth monitoring program manager for Eyak Technology, and COO with Elmendorf Air Force Base Hospital.
Rosenbaum replaces Rick Davis, who left the Alaska Regional post in July to become CEO of Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.
