Parks Highway Master Interpretive Plan
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation will host several public open houses to introduce the Scenic Byways’ George Parks Highway Master Interpretive Plan. The project planners will provide the interested public with information about the plan and its purpose. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss concerns, and provide input. This project is funded through the Alaska Scenic Byways Program that is administered by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities.
Open houses will be held at the following locations:
Monday, April 18, 2011, 6:00 PM, Trapper Creek, AK, Trapper Creek Community Park Building
Tuesday, April 19, 2011, 6:00 PM, Denali National Park, AK, Murie Science and Learning Center
Wednesday, April 20, 2011, 6:00 PM, Fairbanks, AK, Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center (101 Dunkel Street)
Thursday, April 21, 2011, 6:00 PM, Nenana, AK, Nenana Tribal Hall.
Comments will be received through Friday, May 06, 2011 at the close of business.
