2011 NAWIC Constructive Women Award
Anchorage, AK (March 9, 2011) – Mary Kay Bunker, Project Engineer for PCL Construction Services, Inc. has been presented with the 2011 Constructive Woman Award. Each year the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) Alaska Chapter presents the Constructive Woman of the Year Award to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities as a construction professional. Nominations are made by the individual’s employer.
As a member of the Alaska Chapter NAWIC Board of Directors, Mary Kay helps women in the construction industry further themselves through education, mentoring, leadership, industry and community involvement. “Mary Kay would be an asset to any firm.” said Scott Ivany, head of PCL’s Alaska Operations. “She works above and beyond the call of duty - often at the sacrifice of personal needs - placing the company and client first. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments.”
