The Aleut Corp. Announces New President of Aleut Real Estate
(ANCHORAGE, AK – March 21, 2010)
Tony Cange is the new president of Aleut Real Estate, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Aleut Corporation, one of the 13 Alaska Native regional corporations formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). As president, Cange is responsible for managing the company’s operations, sales, and financial growth.
Aleut Real Estate manages the lands, resources and real estate of the Aleut Corporation and pursues responsible economic development opportunities. The company currently manages more than 133,500 square feet of commercial properties located throughout Alaska and in the Lower 48; is negotiating gravel sales and directs mineral exploration; and presides over more than 46,000 acres of lands on Adak Island -- including commercial and residential buildings – as well as the village site of Attu and lands on the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian, Shumagin, and Pribilof Islands.
Cange was most recently financial manager and senior business analyst for Koniag Development Corporation, the operating arm of the ANCSA corporation Koniag, Inc. Prior to that, he was director of finance and accounting for Frontier Systems Integrators, a Koniag subsidiary.
Cange serves as a director of the Koniag Education Foundation and Anchorage Downtown Partnership as well as a Commissioner on the Municipality of Anchorage budget advisory board.
