State public health nurses hold three-day conference in Anchorage
Nurses to discuss variety of health issues affecting Alaskans(Anchorage, AK) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Section of Public Health Nursing is hosting its annual conference in Anchorage this week, called "Promoting the Public's Health: Partnerships for Prevention." Conference sessions will focus on many topics, including preventing obesity, addressing health risks that face Alaska's youth, organizing to improve a community's health, and even preparing for volcanic eruptions.
