Homer Aircraft Crash Update - 3:48 p.m.The aircraft that crashed at the Homer airport this afternoon is identified as a Cessna 206 with one male pilot and two female passengers. The pilot is reportedly uninjured while the passengers have sustained what's being described as minor injuries including bumps, bruises and abrasions. All three have been transported to a local medical facility for treatment and observations.
The aircraft is totaled and positioned upside down about 150 yards beyond runway 2-1. DOT&PF will provide additional details when they become available.
