Full Circle Farm Launches Home Delivery Service

Pioneering Food Company Expands “Farm-to-Table” Business To Deliver Organic Produce and Artisan Goods Straight To Consumers’ Doorsteps

CARNATION, WA (March 9, 2010) – Full Circle Farm, a leading organic produce and artisan food provider, today announced the launch of its home delivery service – a move that will make fresh, organic produce more accessible to thousands of consumers throughout Anchorage.

“We recognize our customers’ increasing desire to be directly connected to the people who produce their food, to have variety and choice, and to have reliable and convenient options,” said Andrew Stout, Full Circle’s founder and owner. “Expanding our service offerings to include home delivery in and around Anchorage will make fresh, organic goods more accessible and convenient to customers with busy schedules.

Full Circle first began service in Anchorage in early 2006, providing customers with fresh organic produce at several convenient pick up locations throughout the city. With the addition of home delivery, Full Circle will now bring the same quality product direct to its customers’ doorstep, making it easier to experience the Good Food Life.

“In Alaska it can be challenging at times to find fresh, organic produce, especially during our winters. With Full Circle Farm’s new home delivery service many people won’t have to venture far for nutritious food,” states Bob McCarney, Alaska Territory Manager for Full Circle Farm. “Full Circle provides a wide selection of organic produce so Alaskans can enjoy a full spectrum of seasonal fruit and vegetables year-round. With Full Circle’s home delivery, organic produce is literally at your doorstep for the first time in Anchorage.”

Community involvement has always been central to Full Circle’s mission.  The farm makes regular donations of fresh produce to schools, sponsors local events, and helps those in need through support of local food banks. It was the community connections that helped form the relationship with AD Farm in Palmer who provided organic Alaskan Grown produce for our Anchorage customers.  Full Circle is excited to offer more products made in Alaska and is actively seeking partners.

Full Circle subscribers in Anchorage can now schedule weekly or every-other week deliveries directly to their home.  Through the Full Circle website (www.fullcirclefarm.com <http://www.fullcirclefarm.com> ) customers are provided with a selection of fresh produce items that they can accept as is, or customize to their specific preferences. Additionally, customers can add organic and artisan grocery items from partners such as The Essential Baking Company, Mt. Townsend Creamery, Quillisascut Cheese Company, Theo Chocolate Company, Grounds for Change (coffee), Choice Organic Teas, Blue Bird Grains and Moon Valley Honey

Full Circle works with a variety of businesses and more than 30 farms to deliver farm values in a box. Full Circle and its partners share a commitment to nutritious food, a healthy environment and sustainable communities. With the addition of home delivery service, the company plans to deepen its relationship with its partners across the region and around the world -- fostering sustainable business practices and customer satisfaction.
