Saturday meeting in Anchorage for members of the public
(JUNEAU) -- Members of the Anchorage Legislative Caucus will hold a public meeting this Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the assembly chambers of the Z.J. Loussac Public Library from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to give the general public an opportunity to voice comments directly to their legislators on issues facing our state.
The meeting will begin with an introduction from Anchorage Caucus co-chairs Rep. Lindsey Holmes (D-Anchorage) and Rep. Nancy Dahlstrom (R-Eagle River). The gathering will continue with brief presentations from the Mayor’s office, representatives of the Assembly, the school district, and the university, followed by open public testimony. To accommodate as many participants as possible, comments will be limited to three minutes per person or group.
