Food safety certification workshop offered


The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host a certified food protection manager workshop July 9 in Fairbanks and Palmer and at videoconference sites in Ketchikan and Sitka.

The deadline to register is June 27 so participants may receive class materials and locations beforehand. Palmer Extension agent Julie Cascio and Marsha Munsell of Fairbanks will teach the food safety workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. State regulations require that all food establishments have at least one certified food protection manager on staff.
