The Association of Fundraising Professionals Alaska Chapter recently hired Jamie Newsom Eaton as Chapter Administrator. Newsom Eaton graduated from Bartlett High School, holds a BA in English from UAA, and an MA in Arts Journalism from Syracuse University. She is also currently Advancement Coordinator at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.
AFP Alaska Chapter is committed to supporting fundraising professionals throughout the state of Alaska. Statewide, the Alaska Chapter includes more than100 active members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.
AFP Alaska Chapter holds regularly scheduled lunch meetings featuring local speakers and topics relevant to the fundraising profession. Local educational and networking opportunities such as the National Philanthropy Day luncheon and conference are available to members and non-members.
