The 2nd Annual Alaska Fishin’ Chix Pink Rubber Boots Ladies Fishing Rodeo

The 2nd Annual Alaska Fishin’ Chix Pink Rubber Boots Ladies Fishing Rodeo will take place on July 14, 2012 at The Fish Hut Charters and Lodging at 1125 Angler Drive, Kenai, AK  99611. The tournament will have one division targeting King Salmon. 

First, second, and third place winners will be eligible for cash prizes (based on tournament registration), respectively. The First Place winners will receive 60%; Second Place will receive 30% and Third Place will Receive 10% of the cash pot.  The start time will be 6:00 a.m. shotgun start with the weigh-in at NOON sharp! The cost is $75 per person with 5% of the gross proceeds going to the Lee Shore Center and $21.25 towards tournament expenses. 

There must be at least one Fishin’ Chix Member on the boat to be allowed in the Tournament.  Members and non-members are encouraged to participate.  The O’Fishal Weigh-in will be at The Fish Hut Charters and Lodging on Beaver Creek.  Perhaps the greatest appeal of the PRB tournaments is not only the FANTASTIC time had by all (guaranteed) and the prizes, but that experience isn’t necessary to fish in the tournament. The tournament invites women of all ages and skill levels to participate. 

Men may fish but are not eligible for any prizes.  There is a BBQ immediately following this event. This is a guide day “so if you need recommendations, please let me know”.  You will be responsible for paying the guide fees.  We will have limited number of seats available on personal boats but will try to accommodate as many as we can.
