New BLS Data: Multiple Jobholding in States in 2011

The latest BLS data showing multiple jobholders as a percentage of total employment, by state,  is now available online at http://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2012/05/art4full.pdf.

Items of note include:

• The annual average multiple-jobholding rate for the United States was 4.9% in 2011, unchanged from a year earlier

·         In 2011, 6.2% of employed Alaskans held 2 or more jobs at the same time
