Mayor Sullivan to Take Oath of Office

Mayor Daniel A. Sullivan will take the mayoral oath of office on July 2, 2012, in a small ceremony at 1:00 p.m. (Alaska Standard Time) during Mayor Sullivan’s annual family vacation to visit First Lady Lynnette’s family in Hawaii.

A live video link meeting has been arranged in Honolulu at the law office of Mr. Nathan Aipa. The Honorable Brian Clark, Anchorage District Court Judge will administer the oath of office. Municipal Attorney Dennis Wheeler and Mayor Sullivan’s executive administration will also be present at City Hall for the official swearing in ceremony.
“I’m honored to serve the Municipality of Anchorage for a second term. I want to thank the voters for their support and our hard working municipal employees for their efforts in making our city a better place to live, work, and raise a family over the last three years. I look forward to continuing these efforts on behalf of the citizens of Anchorage,” Sullivan said.
