Jun 8: Highway Closures to Skagway in Yukon Territory Due to Washouts and Mudslides

Alaska Marine Highway System passengers traveling to Haines and Skagway with ultimate destinations in the Yukon Territory should be aware that several washouts and mudslides have occurred causing road closures.

Sections of the Alaska and Klondike Highways are closed; there is no access from Skagway into the Yukon at this time.
