Governor Parnell to Sign Legislation in Palmer

June 17, 2012, Juneau, Alaska – Governor Sean Parnell will sign several pieces of legislation in Palmer on Monday including the final bill sponsored by the late Representative Carl Gatto. House Bill 56 adds first and second degree arson to Alaska’s conspiracy statute, providing stronger deterrents to committing arson.

The governor will also sign legislation relating to veterans issues and disaster preparedness.
