Governor Parnell to Sign Energy, Economic Development Legislation

June 11, 2012, Anchorage, Alaska – Governor Sean Parnell will sign legislation to spur economic development and accelerate energy production throughout Alaska. Senate Bill 25, sponsored by Senator Lesil McGuire, establishes the Alaska Sustainable Strategy for Energy Transmission and Supply. Senate Bill 66, introduced by Governor Parnell, establishes the New Markets Tax Credit Program.

The bills will be signed in Anchorage on Tuesday.
