Congressman Young Questions the FCC's Geoffrey Blackwell Regarding Universal Service Fund
In case you missed it…Alaskan Congressman Don Young chaired an oversight hearing last Friday on the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) recently announced Universal Service Fund rule and its impact on rural Americans – specifically American Indians and Alaska Natives.
The video is of an exchange between Congressman Young and the head of the FCC’s Office of Native Affairs & Policy, Geoffrey Blackwell.
The exchange focuses on the expensive and difficult waiver process that home-grown Alaskan companies have to endure in order to prove to the FCC that their order is driving them out of business.
