Three Fairbanks employees from Northern Region DOT&PF recently received their Alaska Professional Engineer licenses: John Kirkendall, P.E., Andrew Schultz, P.E., Shawna Sastamoinen, P.E.

Kirkendall, Schultz and Sastamoinen were qualified by education, experience and examination, and are bound by a strict code of ethics.

The P.E. designation grants the authority to sign and seal or “stamp” engineering documents, thus taking legal responsibility for that document.  The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is proud of their accomplishments and the additional credentials to the department.
