The contest includes four categories: landscapes and natural features, historical and cultural features, humans and the environment, and wildlife. Photographers are encouraged to provide engaging anecdotes about the lands along with their photographic submissions. Entries may include photographs taken of BLM lands such as: White Mountains, Gulkana and Delta River Recreation Areas, Bristol Bay, Nullato Hills, Squirrel River, Mount Osborn, the Steese, the Fortymile River Area, and the Scenic Dalton Highway. The top three photographers will win prizes donated by Patagonia, which include: a Patagonia Men’s Large Skinnard Jacket, a Patagonia Women’s Large R-1 Full-Zip Jacket, a Patagonia Daily Grind Shoulder Bag, or a Camelbak Better Bottle.
