Kent Thompson has been hired as a Project Manager / Senior Analyst. Mr. Thompson is an expert financial analyst with 2 years experience in local government affairs, 7 years healthcare, 6 years airline related, and 6 years in other industries. He has a BBA degree with emphasis in Accounting. Most recently managed a finance technical team responsible for application administration, upgrades, testing, interfaces, training and business process improvement.
Jason Hickerson joins RDI’s Anchorage office as a GIS Programmer/Analyst. Mr. Hickerson has a extensive experience using all GIS technologies to include ArcInfo, ArcSDE, ArcGISServer, and Geodatabase design. He also offers programming skills in Visual Basic, C#, and JAVA. Mr. Hickerson received his M.S. in Geographic Information Systems from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Christopher Sowa was hired as a Senior Programmer / Analyst for the Juneau office. Mr. Sowa is a software development professional with 25 years of experience, including roles as project leader/manager, business analyst and programmer. His core technical strengths are in web application development using Microsoft tools and other technologies, including ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server. Mr. Sowa has a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Wayne State University.
Joshua Norris was hired as a Programmer / Analyst for the Juneau office. Mr. Norris is a recent graduate from the Computer Science/Math Department at Midwestern State University. He completed several system design and analysis projects with large software engineering teams. In college, Mr. Norris, excelled in artificial intelligence, graphics, and high level math courses. He has experience with C++, C# and SQL.
