Alaskans for Don Young Names Campaign Manager
Anchorage, Alaska - Alaskans for Don Young is proud to announce that Sara Parsons Schwan, originally of Juneau, Alaska, has officially signed on as Campaign Manager. Sara worked in Congressman Young's Washington, D.C. office from 2001-2008, where she began as a Legislative Assistant, and made the move to Executive Assistant. She now rejoins Team Young to direct the Congressman's re-election efforts.
"I'm very excited to be working for Congressman Young again," said Sara. "While working in the D.C. office, I saw first-hand how hard the Congressman works on behalf of the state that he loves. I am looking forward to conveying that to Alaskans now as I commence work on the other side of operations. Congressman Young has been standing up for Alaskans for as long as I can remember, and I am very eager to hit the ground running and ensure that he will continue to do so for years to come."
"Sara was a great asset to my Washington, D.C. office and I am very pleased to have her back," said Rep. Young. "As an Alaskan, she understands the unique issues of our State and will be a great liaison between my office and the many diverse Alaskan communities. Sara left my office in D.C. a couple of years ago to start a family and I am very proud to welcome her back to the team."
