Alaska Chip Company Hires Northwest Strategies

for Strategic Business Development and Marketing

Anchorage, ALASKA – Anchorage-based snack company Alaska Chip Company is working exclusively with local communications and marketing firm Northwest Strategies to refine Alaska Chip Company’s brand strategy with an aim to increase market share and distribution.

“We’ve put our sweat, equity, passion and care into this business. Alaska Chip Company is all about putting our customers first and continuing to deliver a fresh, delicious and unique product,” said Alaska Chip Company CEO and Owner Ralph Carney. “We were looking for a strategic partner that really understands us and is willing to be a part of our team, not just another agency. Northwest Strategies is that for us.”

Long-time Alaskans Ralph Carney and his wife Darcy founded Alaska Chip Company in 2003. Over the past decade the company has experienced steady growth, expanding its product line to four different flavors of kettle chips and four uniquely flavored popcorn products. Alaska Chip Company products have gained a passionate following in Alaska and are a favorite among tourists.

Alaska Chip Company started with humble beginnings in 2003, when the Carney family began experimenting with kettle chips in their home garage. Alaska Chip Company now crafts kettle chips and popcorn products in their facility on Potter Road in Anchorage, Alaska, where they also have a store open to the public. All Alaska Chip Company products are certified Alaska Grown and Made in Alaska.
