49th State Angel Fund hosts Alaska's third annual Angel Investing conference
Anchorage, AK – The Municipality of Anchorage’s 49th State Angel Fund (49SAF) will host “Angel Forum 2014” on July 28, targeting information toward early-stage investors and entrepreneurs. Susan Preston from the Kauffman Foundation’s Angel Resource Institute will facilitate two workshops: Trends in Raising Capital (8a – 12p) and Pitching to Investors (2p – 6p). Ms. Preston is the author of two books on angel investing and General Partner of CALCEF Clean Energy Angel Fund. The forum will be held at The Boardroom AK (601 W 5th Ave, second floor). “The morning session is oriented towards investors and the afternoon session is more for Entrepreneurs, but attendees should feel free to attend either or both sessions,” said 49SAF Program Manager Joe Morrison. “Susan is a national expert who offers a lot of value. Angel Forum 2014 is part of over a dozen events occurring during Alaska Entrepreneurship Week.
