Tiny Nanotechnology does BIG things at Challenger!
NISE Network Awards Challenger with a mini-grant for Nano Science
Mini, tiny, and nano do big things at Challenger!
Kenai, Alaska- Challenger is pleased to announce it has received a mini-grant from the NISE Network to create a stand-alone workshop to demonstrate how nanotechnology is used in space and space exploration. Imagine a room full of students gasping in astonishment at a cube of opaque material called aerogel, which has a torch underneath it and un-melted crayons on top. Nano is changing the face of science and technology; Challenger is excited to provide the opportunity to keep Alaska’s students engaged with cutting-edge science.”
