Seattle-based web development, strategy firm opens Anchorage office

Dawley & Associates, a Seattle-based web development, strategy and marketing firm announces the opening of an Anchorage office and the hire of Amy Miller, a local communications expert.
Dawley & Associates has been in business in Seattle since 2004, and has serviced clients in Alaska throughout its history. The new Anchorage office will offer Alaska clients a local contact while leveraging Miller’s writing and editing skills on behalf of clients in need of web content and email marketing campaigns.
Dawley & Associates’ Alaska clients include the Alaska Marine Highway System; the State of Alaska’s domestic travel website, TravelAlaska.com; the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center; the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau; and several flight-service providers and lodges. The company has also worked with Alaska Native corporations.
Dawley & Associates provides Internet strategy services focused on helping businesses plan complex web and app development and marketing efforts. The company has technical staff able to create attractive, easy-to-use resources that are scalable and reliable. Additionally, the team has the skills to market these products online to make the whole process a success.
Miller’s 15-year communications career has included public relations, writing and editing, and social-media marketing and strategy in various positions around the state. Miller worked for local public relations agencies Bernholz & Graham and Thompson & Company for nearly 10 years, during which she worked extensively with the Alaska tourism industry, nonprofits, Alaska Native corporations, labor organizations and many others.
The new office is located at 405 E. Fireweed Lane.
